Outsider Theatre are a modern, unique theatre company with a forward focus on creating films and live theatre about anything we find culturally or socially significant. Our work usually revolves around the exploration of at-risk communities within social happenings through documentary based research.

History.
How we came about.
In typical theatre company tradition we met at university studying acting. Post pandemic we reconnected looking to develop a passion project to spark our creativity. We both shared an enthusiasm for people, sharing their stories and (trying our best) to give a voice to those who do not feel heard. This led us to forming 'Outsider Theatre'. For the past two years we have been developing our first project 'Don't Be A Stranger', an intimate and interactive verbatim short film about the effects of social isolation, loneliness, and mental health within the UK.
